November 2011: Thames Valley Investment Network set to participate in £50 million Business Angel Co-investment Fund

Thames Valley Investment Network (TVIN) is to participate in the Business Angel Co-investment Fund (Angel CoFund) announced by the government today that will provide £50 million to invest in high growth companies alongside business angels. To read the full press release click here

July 2011:Co-Investment Programme - Expected start Autumn 2011

OION Limited, the parent of TVIN and its two sister networks, OION and OEI, was proud to be one of the five bidding partners that helped Capital for Enterprise secure Government commitment to a £50m co-investment fund to invest alongside angels. Operational details of the fund have still to be worked out but it is hoped that it will be launched sometime in the autumn and will provide up to £1 for every £2 committed by angels.

Februay 2011: Languagelab.com Secures Funding with the Help of TVIN Investors

Languagelab.com has secured $1 million in funding, a significant part of which came from TVIN members. Languagelab.com provides English language students with an online contextual 3D environment - allowing them to learn socially, in a way that reflects real life situations and gatherings. The investment will enable Languagelab to continue its rapid development of English City.

October 2010: RocketRoute.com Takes off with Investment from TVIN

Aviation navigation company RocketRoute.com has secured £220,000 of equity investment, including £40,000 from a consortium of investor members at Thames Valley Investment Network. The new funding will enable RocketRoute.com to take its online flight planning service to market. To read the full article click here

March 2010: Centrastage Secures Investment and Appoints New Director

CentraStage successfully completed its funding round with the help of TVIN members at the end of last year and is going from strength to strength. Christian Nagele, CentraStage's Managing Director, presented at the TVIN Investment Meeting held at Green Park in September and secured investment from 5 TVIN members amongst others already committed. June 2009: Gendrive attract investor support for TOTUS

Gendrive have successfully closed an investment round which enables them to accelerate the development and commercialisation of their innovative TOTUS product. TOTUS is the most adaptable range of Grid Connected Inverters available and which can be configured simply and automatically for connection to a wide range of renewable energy devices.
