TVIN Green Technology Launch

TVIN Green Technology, the newest SIG (special interest group) in the TVIN portfolio, was successfully launched on Tuesday 16 October during the Thames Valley Innovation Conference in Green Park, Reading.

An audience of over 80 business angels, corporate investors, green technology sector specialists and the business community of the Thames Valley attended the launch of the SIG, which included an informative and encouraging speech on the development of green technologies in the UK from Andrea Gysin of Mouchel Parkman.

Six innovative, early-stage companies from the region, (including four green technology companies, one media company and one hygiene and environmental services company) then had the opportunity to pitch their investment propositions to the Business Angels and Corporate Investors. Networking between interested parties at the end of the meeting ensured that the business angels and entrepreneurs were able to discuss interest and synergies within a stimulating and pro-active investment environment. Considerable post-meeting investment interest has already been shown in each of the companies.
